Grace Coolidge
First Lady Grace Coolidge, wife of President Calvin Coolidge, was a champion of education for the deaf and blind. Coolidge, photographed here by Nickolas Muray in the June 1926 Vanity Fair, served as first lady from 1923 to 1929.
