Barry Blitt is a cartoonist and illustrator. Since 1992, he has contributed illustrations and more than seventy covers to The New Yorker, including “Deluged,” voted Cover of the Year by the American Society of Magazine Editors in 2006, and “Narrow Stance,” a finalist for the same award in 2008. Blitt’s work has also appeared in Vanity Fair, Time, Rolling Stone, and The Atlantic, and he illustrated Frank Rich’s weekly column in the New York Times. He has been honored with exhibitions and awards from the Society of Illustrators, Print, and American Illustration, among other institutions. His work for children includes “The 39 Apartments of Ludwig van Beethoven” and “Once Upon a Time, the End (Asleep in 60 Seconds).”

The canvas is then expertly stretched around 1.5" wooden bars and carefully finished with hand-painted edges. An acrylic coating protects the stunning giclée print from dust, moisture and fading.
