Bruce Eric Kaplan (“BEK”) has contributed more than 300 cartoons to The New Yorker since 1991. His work has also appeared in The Boston Globe and LA Weekly, and in several books, including No One You Know and I Love You, I Hate You, I'm Hungry. Kaplan is also a notable television writer, having written for "Seinfeld" and "Six Feet Under." He currently lives in Los Angeles.
