Plumcots are a natural hybrid that's half apricot, half plum. They tend to favor their plum parentage, with a smooth skin that has a peppery taste and a sugary light-colored interior flesh. When the fruits are in season, you really don't need a recipe—just a fresh napkin to catch the juices. These four plumcots are arranged in the folds of a light blue towel.
